Culture Tribali dal Mondo, Tribal cultures of the world

Investigating forms, confronting styles and uses, having a visual and emotional impact with Tribal Arts: this is the aim of the publication “Culture Tribali dal Mondo, Tribal cultures of the world”. In order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the format Tribaleglobale, the homonymous foundation decided to create this book with the purpose of attracting an increasingly wide audience to the important and fascinating language of Primary Arts.

…investigating forms, rather than scientifically documenting the different works, that, precisely for this reason, have been selected from very different ages. This is why you will not find the typical information about materials, year, measures”, one reads in the introduction to the section of published artworks.

The making of the process involved: Giuliano Arnaldi, Cultural Operator – Filippo Basetti, Photographer – Filippo Biagioli, European Tribal Art artist – Alice Borchi, translator – Alessandra Frosini, Art Historian and Curator – Andrea Mordacci, Expert of Himalayan Tribal Arts – Mario Paffi, from Mediterranean Arts Museum – Daisy Triolo, Art Historian.

This is how “Culture Tribali dal Mondo, Tribal cultures of the world” has been created, containing about 350 colour photos of Tribal artworks from all over the world, which are exhibited in the collection of MAP Primary Arts Museum and “friend” collections.
